Freedom Childcare Centre has been providing quality child care to the children of Victoria for over 30 years. Our team of early child care professionals provide top-quality child care services consisting of an equal mix of early childhood learning experiences combined with learning through play.
The founding owners of “Freedom” discovered that there was a need for quality child care in downtown Victoria from a survey made by the Victoria Women’s Building Society in August, 1994. The survey stated that parents wanted quick access to their toddler/preschooler in the event of illness, parents wanted to be able to visit their children at lunch/break time and that parents preferred child care that was located near their workplace. The founding owners decided to act promptly and created Freedom Child Care Centre.
The name “Freedom” has a twofold meaning, one from the parent’s perspective and one from the child’s perspective. Parents have the freedom to go about their day knowing that their child is in quality care. The child has the freedom to grow and develop in a quality learning environment.
